Is this a painted lady?? What an incredible local treasure!! This is one of the most handsome quality built homes in the Keene area. If walking to our recently expanded library, restaurants, schools and colleges, and culture are important to you, you will want to own this stately home being part of our vibrant community. Built in the late 1890's when the railroad was an important part of Keene's economy this was and still is a gem. The private backyard is an area of well planned gardens, flowering shrubs and an easy to maneuver walkway awaiting your peaceful private enjoyment. Craftspeople have implemented tin ceilings, incredible leather tooling on some of the walls, some stained glass windows, some wood floors, fireplaces, beautiful natural woodwork, pocket doors and more here.
